Abstract Beloit College's Logan Museum of Anthropology was founded in 1893 after Frank G. Logan purchased a collection of around 3,000 Native American archaeological and ethnographic objects that was exhibited at the Chicago World's Columbian Exposition by Horatio Nelson Rust. Originally the collection was housed in Pearsons Hall of Science, but moved to Memorial Hall in 1905 and has been there since. The museum underwent a major renovation from 1992-1995.
